Benefiting TECH CORPS Texas!
We hope you will join us for the first annual Bytes and Birdies Honors Gala and Golf Tourmanent, the proceeds of which benefit the technology education and computer refurbishing programs of TECH CORPS Texas.
Scheduled for Thursday and Friday, September 10-11, 2009 at the Hotel ZaZa and Wildcat Golf Club, this two pronged event will benefit TECH CORPS Texas, a Houston-based 501(c) 3 nonprofit that works to enhance education through technology and is dedicated to helping students complete their education and compete in the global workforce.
We are pleased to honor Philamena and Arthur Baird for their community service, especially in the area of education.
As a sponsor of Bytes & Birdies, you will contribute to the efforts of TECH CORPS Texas to provide quality technology education programs within schools and community based organizations and provide refurbished computers to schools, organizations, and individuals in need, including military veterans returning from overseas. In so doing you will help our organization continue its valuable work in the more than 60 schools in the Houston, Austin, and San Antonio metropolitan areas that have received computers, programs, or volunteers via TECH CORPS Texas.
Bytes & Birdies provides a great opportunity for participation in one or both of these two high profile events, the fabulous dinner event at the Hotel ZaZa (Bytes) the evening of September 10th, and an exciting golf outing at Wildcat Golf Club (Birdies) the following day.
